SNOW

We've got snow and its still falling gently.  They say it'll be gone by tonight.  Nowhere near what we would get in North Fork or above in CA but its makes it interesting here.  People wiped out the milk, bread and water shelves at our local Kroger (grocery store) - people, there will be one day of snow. Not more than 2 inches and it'll be gone by tomorrow.  Two weeks ago we had freezing temps for several days - day and night. That was more of a crisis.

My speciality. I found this recipe in an unusual book in my senior year in highschool and we gave it a try. Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
