Henry the Cat

Mama;

We're going to call the SPCA and see if they'll hold Henry until Wed and get him fixed when the mobile vet comes through and we'll pick him up Wed afternoon and bring him home. After biting me and giving me an infection and having to be quarantined for 10 days, he is now ours.  We're claiming the cat.

We called to check on him and the girl said that he's a sweetheart.  Hopefully he'll be more friendly when we get him home.

We now have: Deacon, Nyx, Grady, Alice, Dusk, Fuzz Bot and Henry - we lost so many in the last year and a half.  It hurts like hell.

Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
