Another Mother's Day Gone

Another year, Mom.  I know the ache will never go away.

Chris came by with a vase he spotted at a yard sale, it has turtles on it and thought of you.

All turtles remind us of you.

Missing you terribly.

My speciality. I found this recipe in an unusual book in my senior year in highschool and we gave it a try. Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
