Items Found

Two of the items we found are a jar of ocean water from Big Sur during an Ostara or Aegir's campout and ash from Mt. St. Helen's. Stepdad Chuck went on a run up there on the truck.

I remember Mom trying to get water from the ocean without her feet getting wet.  She got the water but the keeping the feet dry didn't quite work out. LOL

My speciality. I found this recipe in an unusual book in my senior year in highschool and we gave it a try. Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
