Maschoism? Insanity? Aquarian? Yep

Ma;

I must be a little nuts.  I'm in two online courses through Coursera (Bible history and Crafting a Better Writer) and I'm planning on doing the "summer camp" with NaNoWriMo (National November Writing Month).  I've got the basic idea down, some hint of what the characters are, some indepth research (and a great memory) and planning on trying to reach at least 25,000 words by the end of July.

I'm also working on the garden, working around the house and trying to plan freezer meals (preparing our own packages of veggies, meat, seasonings, etc - freeze them, thaw and then cook in the slow cooker, pressure cooker, whatever).  I've found that making large meals and freezing them is okay but I really don't care for the taste of most stuff that we've cooked and then freeze so I'm going to try doing the prep work but not cooking.  We'll freeze the prepared stuff, thaw bags out and then cook.  Should taste a bit better and be convenient.

I worked my tail off this morning around the house and porch.  Now to try and get my mind somewhat functional to do this weeks writing assignment that's due Monday.  I don't want to wait until the last minute.

Mom, I miss you so much and think how pleased you'd be with the limited progress we're making around here.  The garden is turning out nice - didn't plan or work up a theme or anything but the flowers and bushes are blooming and both sides look like a garden instead of cultivated weeds.

Love you, Mama
