Check out the menorah that Ralph and Vivian sent me. Her mother had gotten it at a yard sale decades ago and they thought of me. Yay! They loved the fleece blankets I did for them and it was quite a surprise.
hey, mom - it's warming up quickly here. lt was cold yesterday and today it was warm enough to make me sweat enough to buy a bandanna. l went to Walmart and took my time shopping instead of rushing as i would normally do. kinda tired tonight and my hand is really hurting very badly- the tendons are bulging and hurt. it is also really difficult to use the onscreen keyboard. seriously thinking of talking with our insurance person about life insurance and how to go about setting up living wills and final wills. Right now if anything happens to both of us David would get everything and he would not hold to our wishes. Our stuff would be gone within days and who knows what would happen to the cats? We have different ideas and we know that you would approve, mom.
We think we figured it out. Mom did think she had a little more time. The doctor said she had probably a month, maybe two if she didn't have the chemo. We don't believe she knew she had days. The speed surprised all of us, including her. We had a good visit with Chris but also a little difficult. There isn't a whole lot to do in our town in the winter after the holiday season. We went to Stone Mountain yesterday and that was okay. Some of the things we wanted to see were closed. We're not sure when we'll see Chris again and we are extremely grateful he came up. He graduates from IT school in the Navy tomorrow and we're beyond proud of him.
Had trouble logging onto the account last night. Aside from the flu, we're getting some things done. We moved the bookshelves from your room to the living room to help organize the DVDs. We came across Red Hat pictures. I can't believe we didn't hear from most of them. I thought a polite email would have come in. Trying to brush it off. Missing you, Mom.
