Happy Thanksgiving Post

Jackie and I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving again. I can't tell you how grateful we are for you. Two years ago today Mom Kathy Carr Jones fought hard to get out of the hospital to be with us and we lost her on the 1st of December so holidays a bit hard for us still.


We're sending wishes of warmth, love, happiness, health and, for our California family and friends, rain.

My speciality. I found this recipe in an unusual book in my senior year in highschool and we gave it a try. Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
