Hey Ma;

Lynn called with news. Nicholas went down and didn't want to get up. They got him into the vet and they found he had cancer and was bleeding into his stomach and there wasn't anything to be done and they had to let him go.  They're both grieving. He was like a Sam to them.

So damned hard losing any of them but some reach deeper into your heart, you know?

Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
