A New Year

Ma;

We worked at cleaning up a little and I posted pictures on the blog.  Isn't Pasha's drawing just beyond perfect? It just fits both of you and speaks volumes on how everyone feels without you, Mom.

I'm becoming you.  When we were at Jo-Ann's the other day I found a fabric that just fascinates me and my mind immediately went to - where could we use this? LOL - well, I'm going to try and make a messenger bag (material is drastically reduced in price - a plus!)

That's the "card" we sent to family and friends today.  We got this from Ralph and Vivian:

"HI, ,this is pretty amazing…Wonderful Photo.. but will tell you the significance for me..  For over 12 years, I have been going to Point B. Quilters Retreat,, it was at the YMCA below where the bridge is to the lighthouse you pass it going there… The Y was installed in the old barracks etc… As I said every Jan, I have been going  for one week, with approx.. 60 women quilters.. some of these ladies have attended for over 30 years..  Conditions at camp are a bit rustic to say the least.. bunk beds, although the top bunk is the place for our clothes.. the 5 toilet bathroom, for us was at the far end, meaning at 2 Am,, it was a quick run down the darkened hall… and the work spaces were very limited… Food was great, and the whole camp was for the ladies, in various stages of dress, from jammies, to sweats to jeans… walking of course, was one of the main attractions with the wonderful views."

How amazing is that?  You know how I love that area.
