waffle recipe 1

We recently bought a waffle maker at sale prices. It's a machine that makes waffle sticks, not one solid waffle. That is perfect considering I can only eat 2 "sticks" if I'm lucky. We can make waffles, Jackie eats one, I eat half and we refrigerate or freeze the rest.

We're just starting with recipes. The Bisquick one (on the box) turned out okay.

This one was light, airy and with a vanilla taste (which would have been better with real vanilla)



We're not sure why you never wanted to experiment with pancake and waffles, Ma.  Maybe because you very seldom ordered anything except "ham and, over-medium with cottage fries or hashbrowns, biscuit with gravy"?

Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
