Day 22, part 2

I was saying to Jackie and in some emails today that it feels like you're on vacation, Mom. That you're off visiting Susie or Lynn and we're working at keeping the house up and getting some projects done so you won't have any worries when you get home.

Jackie knew exactly what I meant. She's been working hard with me on the house and jumps in to get things done.

I'd give anything if you were coming home, Mom.

Want to know how spaced out we've been? I missed paying the gas bill this month. I pay everything on the 3rd and somehow missed it. WTH?

Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
