To the Blind Cat Sanctuary
Our mother passed away last night.  She loved the Facebook postings and videos about the cats that you have taken in.

We are asking that, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in her name to your charity or our mother's senior center.  It may not be much, our circle of friends and family are on the poor side of the fence, but it might bring some money to you guys for the babies.

Our mother was Kathlene Sue Jones and she loved cats, especially hard-luck ones.

Becoming Mom - part whatever

Okay, instead of hand sewing something as I normally would, I used the machine. The design works, the stuff for the project doesn't.  We need bigger pipe insulation. We're making drafty door blockers and the insulation is too small since we ripped out the carpets. So, first foray into sewing with a machine in a long time went well but the project is stalled until tomorrow or Friday.
